Grayson Todd
Grayson Todd is a Senior at Arlington High School. At his high school, he most recently played Ren McCormack in Footloose: The Musical and Rolf in The Sound of Music (2017 High School Musical Theatre Award Nomination). He is super excited to be choreographing his school’s fall show The Wizard of Oz. Also, this fall he is going to be playing the iconic role of Bob Wallace in White Christmas and a Newsie in Newsies: The Musical. He has performed on many stages across the Memphis Theatre Community including: Peter Pan (Slightly Soiled) at Playhouse on the Square, 42nd Street (Ensemble), Oliver (Ensemble), South Pacific (Ensemble) at Theatre Memphis, and multiple other productions in Memphis. After 7 years of doing theatre, Grayson has chosen to major in Musical Theatre and will be auditioning at over 12 universities across the country.


Makayla Boyd
Makayla Boyd is a senior at Independence High School in Franklin, TN. She has loved theatre all her life and she is so excited to be representing her fellow thespians at Thescon 2019! Makayla has been acting ever since she can remember and it has always been a major part in her life. Some of her favorite roles include, The Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, in which she received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in the Nashville High School Musical Theater Awards, and Paulette Bonafonte in Legally Blonde, in which she also received a nomination for Best Comedic Actress in the Nashville High School Musical Theater Awards. Makayla’s favorite musical of all time is Guys and Dolls, she has a dog named Piper who she loves more than anything, and her favorite color is blush pink! She is so thankful for this amazing opportunity and can’t wait to bring on the best Thescon yet!



Izzy Bohn
Izzy Bohn is a senior and the Thespian Society President at Franklin High School. She has been both performing and stage managing for 6 years and loves ever minute of it! In her free time, Izzy works as a Disney Princess at birthday parties and plays guitar.


Christina Frye
Christina is a senior at Lausanne Collegiate School who has been participating in the theater department since 5th grade. Since then, she has been in a number of productions at her school as well as in productions with Opera Memphis and the Germantown Community Theater. She is currently the Co-President of her Thespian Troupe and has been a member of the Thespian Society since 6th grade, when she joined as a junior member. Her most memorable moment in theater was In 10th grade when she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the HSMTAs for her role as Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone. Her most recent role was Helen Clark in the murder mystery Incognito and her favorite role was Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She wants to thank her friends and family for all the enormous support they have showed her through this crazy, busy and exhilarating time. She also wants to thank Mrs. Bugg for keeping her in order and Mr. Hammons for always having a shoulder to cry on. She is excited to pursue her love of performance in college and beyond by studying theater, dance, film and more!



Julian Watson
Julian is super excited to be on this year’s Thescon Executive Board, he is an Actor at Centennial High School in Williamson County and some of his acting credits include; Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, Freddy Fellows in Noises off, and Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls. Julian is the Co-writer and director of the new musical Warstories which made its debut in August and hopes to pursue a career in Theatre performance and production after high school.



Matthew Blessington
Matthew Blessington cannot wait to show all of the fun things we have in store out to the world of Thespians. He has been involved in theatre since the fourth grade, and has been involved in many performances inside and outside of school, from improv to performance art. The different forms of expression that can be displayed through theatre is what drew him in and keeps him in. Some of his more notable work comes in the form of The Ants Movie: The Movie, a feature length film discussing the many ant-tics that happen in your neighborhood sand pile.
