Kara Newman - Student President
Kara Newman is a senior at Fairview High School who is so excited and blessed to have the privilege to serve as the Tennessee ThesCon 2024 president! Her favorite part about theater is how she can express herself in a way that can positively influence the world around her! Theater is a major part of Kara’s life since she has been in 3rd grade and is looking forward to continuing her passion throughout college as she earns her BFA in musical theater! Karas favorite roles she has played are Cinderella in Cinderella, Savannah in Freaky Friday and Cinderella in Into the Woods! Kara is so excited to see you all this year at ThesCon 2024!
Sophie Fortune
Sophie is a senior at Station Camp Camp High School and the President of her theater department. She has been involved in theater since the age of 8 but has loved dancing and singing for as long as she can remember. She plans to attend college in the fall of 2024 (where she does not know currently) to get a BFA in Musical Theatre. She is so beyond grateful for this opportunity to make Thescon amazing for all who attend and she hopes you enjoy it as much as she will!
Sadie Sharp
Sadie Sharp is a junior at Independence High School. She could not be more excited for ThesCon this year!! Her previous experience includes Pugsley in The Addams Family, Featured Dancer in Mamma Mia, Storyteller in The Christmas Schooner, and Irene in Radium Girls. Sadie’s favorite part of Thescon has got to be participating in all of the super fun dance classes and seeing all of the amazing talent of her peers. She cannot wait for you all to see what’s in store for Thescon 2024! See you there!!
Adison Rodgers
Adison Rodgers is a member of the 2023-2024 TN ThesCon Board. She has been doing theatre since she was 7 years old. Some of her favorite roles include Zaneeta Shinn in The Music Man, Florinda in Into the Woods, and Matron Mama Morton in Chicago. She is currently a senior at Ravenwood High School and a member of the Gift of Song. She was awarded the All Star Cast award at the Spotlight Awards this past year, and she plans to pursue musical theatre professionally. ThesCon 2024 is going to be a blast, and she can’t wait for you to enjoy it!
Jenna Peterson
Zachery Gosse
Zachery Gosse is a junior this year at Brentwood High School. He grew up in a family of entertainers and considers being on stage a privilege and each new show an exciting challenge. A few of his favorite former roles include Jesse Tuck, Crutchie, and Mr. Wormwood. Zachery appreciates the support and encouragement from Mrs. Moody, friends & family. “ThesCon 2024 is going to be awesome!”
Jenna is a Senior at Christ Presbyterian Academy and beyond excited to be a part of the ThesCon 2023-2024 board. She plans to pursue drama, communications, and improvisational comedy in college. An example of her bold sense of humor is that she is “running” cross country for the first time ever as a senior. Funny, right? She is currently president of the Thespian Society at CPA. ThesCon 2024 will absolutely rock and she cannot wait to see all of you Under the Sea!
